Dancers/performance artists who love peace – make a difference!



When: Sunday September 13, 2015 

Time: Informational meeting about the event 4:30 p.m.  

Where: Forest Park, IL 



Looking for multi-dimensional performers (mix of males and females ages 15+) for a collage inspired by a famous 1930s ballet about the insanity of war. We have set performance dates & related workshop(s) for Martin Luther King Weekend January 15-18, 2016.  


I am a choreographer and director for local peace organization. Having taught dance and theater for many years, I have a MA in Dance from a top university program and a was a guest artist in Copenhagen with one of Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo's protégées.


Opportunity: You have well-rounded dance training and strong stage presence. You can improvise and take creative risks as a member of a group, are reliable and have a can-do attitude. Bring a 2-3 minute piece you love performing, and any music you need. 


The rehearsals will be in Forest Park – close to CTA. Performance in Oak Park.


Rehearsal Commitment:     Sundays 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm  (September 27-through the date of the performances) Additional rehearsals may be scheduled.  


Compensation:   Performance honorarium and DVD of the performance.
