Dance auditions!!!

tHE PACE pEOPLE (italian for peace) 

Date  and Time: Open auditions by appointment, flexible

Audition Location: The Peace Center, 6833 Stanley Avenue, Berwyn, IL 

Opportunity:   Confident, strong, athletic men and women who can dance, have strong stage presence and are willing to take creative risks. The ability to co-create with others in a group through improvisation is a requirement.  

The Peace Center is a diverse interfaith organization and dancers of all religious and ethnic backgrounds are invited to audition.  Our mission is to bring the vision of peace to the community in a variety of settings and public spaces.

Material to Prepare: Please come prepared with a 2-3 minute choreographed solo that showcases your style. Jazz, modern, ballet and ethnic dance are all welcome. Please bring a photo, resume and a CD/tape with your music.

"Old Time Religion" choreography and performance Margo Ruark

Margo Ruark, Artistic Director of The Pace People, is a former professional modern dancer and holds a Master's degree in Dance from the University of Wisconsin. She has created and performed more than 50 original works in the U.S. and Europe, and  was a guest artist at The Black Horse Theater in Copenhagen.
